15 Year-Old Coaches
Coach Vullo is in his first season coaching the Colorado Chaos. He will be coaching the 15’s Blue team this year.
Vullo has been coaching basketball in Colorado for over 20 years. He has been a High School basketball coach for 12 years in Colorado and is going into his 8th year as a head coach. He is currently the head boys basketball coach at The Pinnacle Charter High School. Vullo has a reputation as a program builder, having taken two non winning programs to league prominence and state playoff berths. Vullo started his high school coaching career at Thomas Jefferson High School in Denver. His final two years at Thomas Jefferson, he served as the Junior Varsity coach and posted a 36-2 record. The next two years Thomas Jefferson varsity went on to win back to back State Championships. Vullo then got hired as the head boys basketball coach at Sheridan High School in 2004. He took over a program that had not won a game in nearly 3 years and immediately turned the program around. In his five year tenure as head coach at Sheridan, Vullo won over 70 games, including two Frontier League titles, two district titles and five consecutive state tournament berths. Vullo also garnered the Frontier League Coach of the Year Award in both 2007 and 2008. Also during his five year tenure at Sheridan the program was ranked in the 3A Top Ten in two separate seasons.
Vullo then accepted the head coaching position at The Pinnacle Charter High School prior to the 2009-10 season. He recently finished his second season at Pinnacle Charter and has guided the Timberwolves to 32 wins and turned them into a perennial league title contender and guided them to their first district title in school history. In just two seasons at Pinnacle, Vullo has won a district championship, made two consecutive state tournament berths and appeared in the top ten ranking in the 3A classification. During the past 7 years as head coach Vullo has compiled over 100 wins, won two League titles, three district championships and made seven straight state tournament berths. Three of his teams have achieved a Top Ten ranking and he has won two league Coach of the Year awards and one League coach of the year runner-up.Vullo lives in Southwest Denver with his beautiful wife Nikky and their two children, Marcello and Gabriella. He is a graduate of Metropolitan State College and has a BA in Physical Education.
Coach Hunt is in his first season coaching with the Colorado Chaos and will coach the 15’s White team.
Hunt had an outstanding high school career at Green Mountain High School where he was a three time All Conference and two time All State selection. He was also named the Jefferson County Conference Player of the Year his senior year as well as being selected to play in the Rocky Mountain Fall Showcase and The Show all star games. Hunt also had a very successful playing career in a Colorado Chaos uniform, where he finished his career as a member of the prestigious Colorado Chaos 1,000 Point Club.Following his high school career, Hunt went on to play at the University of Northern Colorado for the 2009 season. He then transferred to Colorado State University where he is now finishing his degree.
